Multi-State Payroll Processor (ADP & Costpoint Expertise Required)

We are a forward-thinking organization with operations spanning multiple states, committed to maintaining smooth payroll processing and full compliance with state and federal regulations. We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-State Payroll Processor who is proficient in ADP and Costpoint to join our growing team. If you're detail-oriented and excel in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across various states, ensuring compliance with state-specific payroll regulations.

Utilize ADP and Costpoint systems to enter, review, and process payroll transactions, ensuring timely and precise payroll delivery.

Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records for all employees.

Calculate and process wages, benefits, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings in accordance with company policies and relevant federal/state regulations.

Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax laws, and coordinate tax filings when necessary.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax deductions while providing outstanding customer service.

Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and the accounting team.

Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure payroll accuracy.

Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in multi-state payroll processing, preferably within a diverse and dynamic workforce.

Expertise in ADP and Costpoint payroll systems is essential.

Strong understanding of payroll tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and multi-state compliance.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience troubleshooting payroll issues.

Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience managing confidential employee information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

Payroll certification (CPP or FPC) is advantageous.

Experience with payroll accounting and reconciliations.

In-depth knowledge of payroll tax filings and year-end processing.
