Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accountant to join our team. This role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to drive financial success in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, developing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position will require a strong understanding of Grants, HUD, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations including budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
2. Utilize netsuite to streamline and automate financial processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
3. Provide consulting services to various departments on financial matters, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
4. Manage and monitor Grants and HUD funds, ensuring proper allocation and compliance with all relevant regulations.
5. Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
6. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
7. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in the field.
8. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate financial planning and budgeting processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the non-profit
3. Proficiency in netsuite, with a strong understanding of its applications in financial operations preferred
4. Experience managing Grants and HUD funds, with a solid understanding of associated regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Proven experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
6. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues effectively and efficiently.
