Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accountant to join our team. This role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to drive financial success in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, developing financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position will require a strong understanding of Grants, HUD, and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations including budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Utilize netsuite to streamline and automate financial processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide consulting services to various departments on financial matters, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
- Manage and monitor Grants and HUD funds, ensuring proper allocation and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in the field.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate financial planning and budgeting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the non-profit
- Proficiency in netsuite, with a strong understanding of its applications in financial operations preferred
- Experience managing Grants and HUD funds, with a solid understanding of associated regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues effectively and efficiently.
