Salary: $19 - $26 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all scheduled inspections and repairs are completed correctly, effectively and completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform oil and coolant changes on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair bearings, ball screws and servo motors.
  • Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance activities are being performed and documented per schedule.
  • Install and relocate equipment as needed throughout the workshop.
  • Work with equipment manufactures to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems.
  • Effectively document the work performed to maintain accurate work history and troubleshooting notes.
  • Responsible for changing out air conditioning filters, light fixtures and switches, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining outside sprinkler systems and outside lighting.
  • Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.
  • Coordinate and support with the Facilities Supervisor to resolve equipment problems and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Ensure 6s is maintained in the assigned work areas.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years production equipment troubleshooting and repair experience required.
  • Must be able to read machine prints and determine which items are needed to complete any repairs.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Must have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to replace electronic components.
  • Must be able to work independently at a fast pace, follow directions and make decisions.
  • Ability to do general facilities repairs to include lighting repair and maintenance.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to maintain machine coolant at proper concentrations.
  • Ability to do drywall repairs and painting.
  • Must be able to communicate and read English proficiently.
