Job Description:

The

Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A , reporting to the Vice President, Business FP&A, will play a critical role in analyzing, understanding, and communicating key drivers of financial performance across Ventas, with a focus on the outpatient medical and research (OMR) business. This position is responsible for analyzing variances to plan and forecast updates, managing a wide variety of management and external reporting, and tracking Ventas's consolidated capital expenditures and forward capital commitments.

The role will collaborate closely with multiple functions throughout the organization, from Investments to Asset Management, providing consolidated financial information to leaders to inform strategic decision-making and support key strategic initiatives. The successful individual will combine advanced analytical skills with focused critical reasoning to convert raw data into insightful financial analysis, driving the company's strategic goals and growth.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with earnings preparation (including consolidated NOI growth and Q&A for the earnings call), Monthly Business Reviews, investor relations requests and other management and external reporting.Analyze monthly and quarterly capital expenditure results as part of the financial review and earnings processes. Aggregate and report on any forecast changes for future capital commitments.Engage with the Asset Management and Investments teams on their capital budgets/forecasts, reporting & tracking vs. actual spend; help management understand the key risks and opportunities to staying within published guidance.Collaborate with multiple functions throughout the organization, including Accounting, Construction & Development and IT, in order to prepare information for reporting and analysis purposes.Provide overall analytic support as needed to Asset Management teams and senior management on key strategic initiatives and ad hoc requests.Qualifications

3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or a similarly rigorous analytical roleBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar business fieldStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze data trends, draw conclusions and create presentable, understandable reports to senior managementStrong verbal, written & interpersonal communication skillsProcess and detail oriented; always looking for ways to improve processesIntellectual curiosityAbility to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

The compensation available for the role considers a variety of factors including, but not limited to, work location, individual skill set, previous/applicable experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for individuals who work in New York City is $95K to $125K. The above salary range represents Ventas' good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base salary range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Ventas provides to employees.
