Our team is growing, and we are looking for a Material Handler to join our team.
Night Shift: 2,2,3 Shift - 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
What are we looking for?Standing on a concrete floorSitting, getting up and down off of a forklift oftenWearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55lbsMust be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicalsVision correctable to 20/20Be 18 years of age or olderHave a High school diploma, GED or equivalent educationMust be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedulesAbility to understand and effectively communicate in the English languageWhat will be your key responsibilities?
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all timesReceive and unload raw materials and supplies from delivery equipmentProvide and perform material receiving and storage data entry and reporting as requiredPerform periodic and routine inventories of raw materials in storageProvide and perform routine maintenance checks on equipmentAssist in other production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activity in other areas as directedPerform housekeeping and sanitation proceduresProvide functional communication with other staff members as necessary to optimize quality, efficiency, productivity and safetyLoading trucks, live loads and staged loadsAbility to operate Fork lift - (Expert Level)Operation of site yard dogDirect ship responsibility including proper disposition of hold product, food safety hold product and released productWMS, BOL responsibility / accountabilitySupport Warehouse Area Lead with all activities associated with shipping departmentWhat can you expect from Mars?
