Job Description:
The Blue Tower Extrusion Utility Support Operator has accountability for the sampling and operational support within the finished product tower.
The role is responsible for supporting the operations of the blue tower and collecting quality and micro samples during production. This associate must have thorough technical understanding and knowledge of Operational Excellence Fundamentals and the Factory Mars Operating System (MSE/FMOS) and process control for their area.
Blue Tower Extrusion Utility Operator must:Collect Quality samples in the Blue tower for the extrusion operator while preserving blue/yellow zoning practices.Collect Micro samplesRestock all dry powders and liquids, as neededPerform all finished tower changeoversMaintain cleanliness and sanitation activities of their blue zone areaCollect monthly monitoring samplesCollect rehydration samplesReport and support correcting all upset conditions/abnormalities within the blue towerMicro mitigation and separationHelp/Assist in any work needed in the blue zone/Finished Product towerHelp/Assist in any finished product sampling plans, as neededOther duties as assigned by shift manager or site leadership teamWhat are we looking for?
High School Diploma/GED1 year of prior manufacturing experience is a plusFluent English verbal and written skills.Experience in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry desirable. Mechanical training or experience in fault-finding - beneficialMust have the ability to work rotating shifts
