What's the job?

The Shipper/Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in Vetrotech's logistic operations, being responsible for safely and efficiently loading trucks, verifying shipments, and preparing shipping documentation . This position involves using forklifts and other material handling equipment to load/unload trucks/trailers and to move materials about the facility as necessary. This candidate is responsible for continuous improvement to 5S within the facility, removal of scrap materials from production, staging of inventory, and adhering to established safety regulations.

Essential Functions:

Loading and unloading trucksUpdating order status in internal softwareStaging material for shipment, moving product around the facility as neededMaintaining a clean work area and organized product storage areasGeneral forklift maintenance and reporting maintenance necessitiesCover/Support receiving function as necessaryAdditional duties and responsibilities as required or assignedHours:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour
