PRIMARY DUTIES:

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned:

Assuring work area is safe.Performing the various skills of the Clean Line department.Employee is required at times get trays off the staging racks in Finishing departmentEmployee is required at times to load parts onto conveyor belt by pushing handle down.Employee is required at times to unload parts from conveyor belt by pushing down handle.Employee is required to place a drop of oil on knives and place them in a tray.Employee is required at times place trays on staging racks.Employee is required to lift trays of parts with maximum weight of 35 lbs.Employee at times may need to get trays from the RHC department by using a cart.Employee is required to write quantities on the crewing guide.Employee is responsible to periodically check the partsEmployee is required to clean the work area daily at the Beginning and the end of the shift.Employee must maintain adherence to safety initiatives while working in his or her respective area in accordance with standard operating procedures.Employee is required to follow all quality control and engineering specifications, as well as fill out any quality control forms to process acceptable parts.Responsible for cleanliness of the work area during and upon his or her completion of jobs.Take instructions from supervisors.Assist Engineering/Quality departments as needed.Physical Demands:

Physical Requirements:

Standing: As required by operation.Sitting: Able to sit for extended periods of time.Moving: Normal, able to move throughout the department as required by operation.Lifting: Minimal, up to 35 pounds. Lifting of trays with various components.Pushing/Pulling: As required by operation.Visual Acuity: Normal and/or corrected vision for inspection of work /components.Bending/Stooping: Normal, minimal.Hand Action: Able to pick up parts and put them on the conveyor belt or take them off conveyor belt and place parts in Tray.

Safety equipment required - Safety glasses, hearing protection, safety gloves, padded hand sleeves.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of W.R. Case Job/Safety Orientation.On the job training.

** The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. and Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
