The primary function of this position is to maneuver tractor trailersfor the purpose of loading and unloading products while providing safety andsecurity for the division yard and dock area. It is further required that theabove function be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance withDepartment of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
This will be done by:Ensure the safe movement of equipment aroundthe yard and warehouse to and from offsite yards when applicable.Must be willing to work flexible hours.Maintain equipment while on site.Drop and hook tractor to trailer.Inspects truck for defects, before and aftertrips and submits reports indicating truck condition.
Responsibilities:Responsible for the proper, complete, andsafe execution of the logistics and other associated activities on the site.Ability to verify unit initials and numbersaccurately.Maintain a safe pace while spotting andpulling trailers/containers from dock doors.Maintain the integrity of trailers and loadsby ensuring that cold chain temperature is adhered to.Ensure all loads are guarded and sealed.When carrying out transport and storageactivities handle the requirements of the quality management system

Safety Requirements:This position is considered a SafetySensitive position.Able to complywith DOT Clearinghouse regulations and company policies.Successfully complete road test, regulated drug screen, and clean MVR.Provide drivingrecord for the last 10 years.
Experience Requirements:Ability to use computer for yard tracking.Meet FederalDOT requirements3+ years CDL Class A driving experience1-year CDL interstate or on-road experienceNo DUI's withinthe last 5 yearsNo major movingviolations within the last 3 years3 years ofverifiable consecutive work historyApplicants mustbe able to read and understand English
