The Quality Sorters will report to the Quality Team and will be responsible for performing inspection and quality checks. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in fast paced environments. They must have the ability to work with various teams in Assembly including Engineering, Quality, and Suppliers across a wide variety of issues/ corrective actions identified in production and field performance.Available Shifts:A Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other WednesdayB Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM; Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday

Responsibilities

Perform complex assembly work. Tasks require the use of state of art manufacturing tools, precision measuring equipment, and machineryAbility to troubleshoot and must be able to follow verbal and written instructions for specialized equipmentCollaborates closely with technicians and engineers.Identify discrepant materials/components both in writing and verbally to supervisorComplete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard timesMaintain a clean and orderly work area and must demonstrate an ability to perform standardized work process and defined work instructions. Use of complex tooling that requires specialized trainingEvaluates the assembly processes and equipment to look for continuous improvement opportunitiesPossess a "get it done" attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasksRequirements

Tesla Mission DrivenComputer skills are strongly preferred (use of Word, Excel & Outlook programs)Must have strong command of the English language, both written and verbalMust be reliable, have good initiative, be committed, and be quality focusedAbility to lift 30 on a daily basisAbility to work with a team and in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read and understand manufacturing instructions. Quality Inspector - $22.00/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
