The Quality Engineering Technician will work closely with Quality Engineering to provide reports, charts, graphs and anything else needed to define, measure, analyze, improve and control product and process quality from their respective shops. The successful candidate must have mechanical aptitude, the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented and be able to both take direction and work independently.

Shifts:A - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7am - 7pmB - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 7am - 7pmC - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7pm - 7am 10% shift differentialD - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 7pm - 7am 15% shift differential

Responsibilities

Lead the organization and completion of Quality trials working with Quality Engineers and Quality TechsDrive the creation and maintenance of Quality Instruction documentsSupport Quality Engineers in root cause analysis of materialized quality issuesWork closely with manufacturing, process, and suppliers to establish processes and procedures that will ensure consistently high qualityMaintain, update, and validate product and quality plans and control plansLeads line to line root cause issues/solutions to increase and maintain quality metrics and performanceDevelop and implement daily process/line specific audit plans for Quality Technicians. Compile and review results with cross-functional teamsRequirements

Bachelors Degree in Quality Engineering is preferred, or equivalent experienceExperience with quality systems in a high-volume manufacturing environmentExperienced in ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA preferredKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, TPS, TQM, etc highly desiredProficiency at reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagramsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing line leadership and guidance as well we ability to pull and manipulate data in SQL, basic statistical knowledge (capability, t-tests, etc.)Must have command of the English language, both written and verbalCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

Engineering Technician I - $25.92 - $28.90/hourEngineering Technician II - $29.88 - $33.02/hourEngineering Technician III - $32.80 - $38.11/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
