The Permitting Expeditor will work closely with the Pre-construction, Engineering, and Operations departments and is responsible for full lifecycle of project permits. Overseeing permitting from beginning to end, this position will help drive our permitting efforts to better support our operations team as well as our clients. The accomplishments of this role are critical to delivering on Primoris' commitment to exemplary customer service.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop project-specific permitting workbooks to identify all necessary permits for EPC project execution, including cost, application process, duration and any other pertinent information regarding permits.Review owner-provided permits to ensure that all land use and entitlements are in place and ready for efficient EPC permitting.Review and provide feedback on permitting exhibits and contract language to ensure consistency with company expectations.Familiarity with state and federal regulations; knowledge of regulatory processes and permit compliance.Manage the process of obtaining required project permits as identified.Gain clarity on the permitting process for each permit, including costs, associated scheduling requirements, and deliverables.Maintain complete project records for building permits and land development process for each projectAssist in coordination of engineers and other consultants to prepare documents required to obtain permit approvalsReview submittals for completeness and accuracySupporting and helping manage large and complex project permitting throughout project lifecycleDevelop and execute permitting strategies specific to the project in collaboration with the Permitting Manager, Project Developer, and the broader Development Team.Draft detailed analyses that describe any permitting challenges and available permitting pathways for projectSupport project planning and scheduling in support of project development teamAnalyze or asses regulatory policy implications to siting and permittingDevelop permit plans identifying issues, and collaborate as necessary.communicate compliance criteria for regulatory requirements and permit conditions to the operations team and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and submit permit application packages with all required deliverablesConduct comprehensive risk assessment to anticipate permitting challenges and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Communicate with stakeholders about status of project permittingAssemble all documents required for permitting; submitting and promptly addressing any insufficiencies or other issues as they ariseAssist team in preparation of letters, memos, reports, and requirements for formal submittalLead permitting and related efforts to support project development, meeting client objectives, and project-specific internal goals.Manage entire permitting process specific to multiple ongoing projects across multiple states, from bidding to development.Work with technical staff and design leads to ensure project designs are consistent with permitting requirements.Prepare and submit permit applications/packets to governmental agenciesCoordinate with external subject matter experts, external consultants, and internal staff to identify environmental constraints, conduct environmental field studies, prepare environmental reports and analyses to support permit applications.Manage response to permitting agency information, data requests, and plan review comments.Represent projects at stakeholder meetings and hearingsWork with client, permit authorities, project managers, and engineers to proactively determine permit requirements and achieve timely permit approval.Assist with permit cost projections and payment tracking for permits.Provide regular updates to senior management on permit status and schedule.Opportunity to work directly and cohesively with design and construction teams.Coordinate Permit Tracking tools for complete and timely application and reportsLead closeout and audit procedures for successful completion of permit requirements to ensure successful delivery of permits and certificates of occupancyQualifications: .

Pay Equity

$85,000 - $105,000

Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. Primoris Renewable Energy reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
