OverviewPosition: Physical Therapist Assistant- Clearwater MNLocation: 600 County Rd 75, Clearwater, MN 55362Schedule: Part time hours between (Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m)Compensation: starting at $25.00/hourOur NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking alicensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programOutpatient clinical rotation in lieu of experience if a new gradOutpatient experience within the last 5 years if practicing clinicianPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)CPR CertificationAdditional DataSelect Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
