Responsibilities: • Manage client communications and maintain case files • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents • Schedule court appearances and meetings • Perform administrative tasks as needed • Strong organizational and research skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Proficiency in legal software and research tools • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications: • A paralegal certificate or degree (NOT necessary) • Proven experience in family law • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents • Assist attorneys in case preparation and trial support We are seeking a family law paralegal who can assist clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues of family law, including divorce, child custody, CHINS/DCS, and protective orders. Jobseekers should be equally familiar with prenuptial agreements, divorce, child support, and paternity matters. The family law associate should be able to effectively advocate and negotiate in highly stressful and emotional situations. Compensation:
$50,000 per year
