ASDOH - Dental Assistant (Sterile/Float) - ACC

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking applications for a full-time non-exempt Dental Assistant (Sterile/Float) on the Mesa, Arizona campus. Duties & Responsibilities: Complete instrument and equipment sterilization on a daily basis. Ensure all instruments are clean and ready for the next day's procedures. Sterilize used instruments and check out clean instruments to students and/or faculty. Maintain dental equipment inventory and supply control system as needed. Weekly spore tests. Sterilization, OSHA standards, HIPAA regulations, suction lines, traps & DUWL experience preferred. Will serve as a Dental Assistant float as needed. Education & Experience: At least one year of previous inventory/supply room experience. Understanding of supply chain management. Four-handed dentistry experience, x-ray certification, and CPR certification required. Microsoft Office Suite experience helpful. Familiarity with Sterilization, HIPAA regulations, and infection control procedures. Effective communication skills.
