Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

ICX Group is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant for a well respected organization in Jacksonville. The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for carrying out financial reporting functions and identify areas of continued process improvements.Responsibilities:Prepare the quarterly reports and annual reports (10-Q and 10-K) in a timely and accurate mannerAssist in preparing annual earnings releasesAssist with the completion of SEC, MD&A, SOX 404, and GAAP disclosure checklistsPerform technical accounting research and analysis of GAAP, FASB, and SEC rules and regulations that impact financial reporting.Requirements:2+ years public accounting experienceCPA is required (or pursuing CPA)Strong knowledge of GAAPBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
