A retail services company in New Jersey is looking to add a new Financial Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with planning and execution of the company's external financial reporting.
Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst - External Reporting will:Assist with drafting of quarterly financial statements and 10-Q reportsAssist with drafting of annual financial statements and 10-K reportsAssist with drafting and coordinating 10-Q and 10-K disclosure related requests to the North America and International divisionsReview disclosure packages and work with global finance partners to resolve any questionsAssist with the iXBRL tagging and e-filing with the SEC for 10-Q and 10-K reportsAssist with preparation of various other SEC reports, as neededInteract and liaise with external auditors on quarterly reviews and annual audits, including assisting with variance analysis and SOX controlsPlanning and execution of U.S. Department of Commerce and other census reportsAssist with accounting research and peer benchmarking analysis, document findings and conclusionQualifications:
2+ years of Public Accounting and/or Corporate External Reporting for a public companyBachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or FinanceExperience with preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirementsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedSolid analytical skillsDesired Skills:
CPA or CPA candidateKnowledge of Oracle Hyperion EssbasePrevious experience with iXBRL
