Description

Position Summary

The Director of Financial Reporting will be responsible for SEC reporting and assisting in all areas of internal and external financial reporting and filings of the company. In addition, this position will develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control over the financial reporting environment to ensure accurate and timely financial statement filings.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare SEC filings including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and associated earnings releasesUpdate iXBRL tagging for all required SEC filingsPrepare financial analysis for reporting periodsAssess and maintain internal control SOX documentation to ensure compliance with 2013 COSO frameworkPerforms research into accounting principles to develop accounting policies and procedures and provides proper accounting guidance regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactionsObtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the ERP system, Netsuite, and its relationship to financial reporting and analysis through Bridge by Toppan MerrillKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and ExperienceA minimum of 5+ years in accounting and finance management, including SEC reporting and technical GAAP experienceCapable of interpreting and explaining financial/accounting terminology and principlesHighly developed computer skills, particularly Microsoft productsStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with Netsuite & Bridge by Toppan Merrill, or similar system/software, strongly preferredHighly organized, with focus on process and time management disciplineDemonstrates strong leadership skillsAbility to work with people at all levels of the organizationAbility to meet strict deadlines
