If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, treat the business as if it is your own and add value accordingly, come see why we're Calumet Proud!PURPOSE:The SEC Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting with the compilation of financial data related to external financial reporting and assists in the preparation of SEC filings, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and earnings releases.KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Compile financial information for certain SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs and 8-Ks) including financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules and disclosuresOversee the Toppan Bridge platform used by the Company to prepare SEC filings (e.g. document set-up, document roll-forward, etc.)Prepare financial statement tie-outs for SEC filings and other external financial reports (e.g. investor presentations)Compile information for Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) disclosuresEnsure compliance with policies and procedures in accordance with our SOX 404 requirementsPerform data integrity validation testing over the Company's internal financial reporting systems, as necessaryAssist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly Statement of Cash Flows for both internal and external reportingAssist with the preparation of certain financial information in conjunction with the Company's annual goodwill impairment testingAssist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards, as necessaryPrepare the quarterly US GAAP Financial Statement Disclosure ChecklistMaintain and administer the Company's listing of related partiesAdminister the Company's quarterly internal representation letter processPrepare roll-forward and period-end reconciliations of Partners' Capital accountsAssist with the administration of the Company's Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)Prepare requests quarterly and annually for both internal and external auditorsComplete special projects, as neededOther duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES
:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field4+ years of progressive experience with a combination of public accounting and industry experience at a publicly traded companyExperience with accounting and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, including the preparation of financial statements and footnotes of a publicly traded company
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:CPA and/or MBAExperience with financial statement tie-outs and iXBRL tagging/reporting
