Geriatrician

Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Geriatrician to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. Located in the Bronx, Jacobi accommodates more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits, and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital also serves patients with many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities include both didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents
• The selected candidate will work to create innovative educational experiences in the training of individuals caring for a growing aging population

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Geriatrics
• Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
• At least 5 years of clinical experience post fellowship is preferred
