Job Description Sol Vista Roofing is a high-growth Denver area roofing company. We pride ourselves on quality roof construction and unmatched customer service. We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented individual to lead our commercial roofing service and repair operation. This position will include a majority of time spent in the field at roofing jobsites, with some time also needed at our company office. Example duties include inspecting and assessing roofs, determining roof repair plans, ordering roof materials, writing repair work orders, creating customer repair estimates, managing the repair process on-site, documenting repairs, interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction, managing jobsite safety, conducting quality control inspections, and handling internal and external communication. We are seeking a commercial roofing expert who is a proactive problem-solver and a good communicator. We need a roofing professional with excellent computer skills, who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable. This position requires being on call to address issues arising from customers or jobs early in the morning or after hours. Our management and office staff are available to support you. Prior roofing/construction experience and knowledge of all types of roof systems (residential and commercial) is required. Our ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications Roofing: 7 years Commercial Roofing: 5 years Requirements: Prior roofing service, production, or sales experience with working knowledge of all roofing types and installation/repair techniques (minimum 5 years) Experience diagnosing and estimating commercial roof repairs and service needs Experience managing multiple projects happening in the same day Knowledge and experience supervising jobsite safety Excellent professional communication skills (proactive, quick responses, pleasant interactions) Highly detail-oriented Strong computer skills Commitment to 5-star customer service (internal and external) Ability to climb tall roofs to access repair areas Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required OSHA certification is a plus but not required Job Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites to assess roofing service and repair needs through professional commercial roof inspections Develop comprehensive repair plans, including material needs, work orders, budgets, and customer quotes Manage roof repair and service on-site, documenting with photos and logs for internal and external clients Serve as the first point of contact for new roofing clients, maintaining professional communication via phone, text, email, CRM, and other technology Supervise jobsite safety and prepare safety plans for larger projects Perform quality control inspections of completed work Maintain clean and organized jobsites Attend scheduled company training and meetings Assist residential roofing team with overflow asphalt roof inspections Occasionally perform light-duty roof repairs Adapt to changing job requirements; as a small and growing team, flexibility is essential to serve clients effectively
