Perpetual Resource Partners LLC (“Perpetual”) is a Dallas, TX based oil and gas company focused on the acquisition of non-operated working interests, minerals, and royalties in the Permian Basin. Perpetual is backed with equity commitments from long-term, private capital and management. Perpetual is seeking a Senior Acquisition Landman to manage its Delaware Basin leasehold acquisition program. The envisioned candidate will have a strong in-basin network and extensive oil and gas transactional experience, specifically in New Mexico. A comprehensive understanding of land, legal, regulatory, and industry principles is required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage in-house and field acquisition efforts through a daily focus on deal sourcing, negotiating, and closing transactions. Work directly with Perpetual’s technical team and management to provide quick feedback to potential sellers. Help manage Perpetual’s title efforts and external brokers/buyers the company engages. Further build out Perpetual’s acquisition team through additional hires under the guidance of Perpetual’s President. QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated track record of closing working interest and/or mineral/royalty transactions in the Delaware Basin over the past 3+ years. New Mexico transaction experience is preferred. Proficient title knowledge and in-depth understanding of Purchase and Sale Agreements. Ability to drum-up off-market acquisition opportunities within Perpetual’s buy areas using in-house software tools (GIS, Enverus, etc.) and title runs. Advanced knowledge of New Mexico’s regulatory processes as well as an up-to-date understanding of New Mexico’s state and federal land policies. Ability to coach, mentor, and train other acquisition team members as the company grows. COMPENSATION Competitive salary commensurate with experience level.
