Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist

Full-Time | Onsite Salary: $50,000 - $57,000/Year A growing organization is seeking a full-time
Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist
to join its collaborative and fast-paced shared services team. This role plays a critical part in managing the customer lifecycle-from setup to payment collection-and requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage the customer setup process, including billing, credit evaluation, and contact information updates.
Create and distribute accurate and timely invoices.
Record daily bank deposits and update client accounts based on received payments.
Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure accounts remain in good standing.
Handle inbound and outbound communication regarding past due accounts with professionalism-even when navigating difficult conversations.
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks (prior experience preferred, but not required).
Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in billing and collections preferred; however, recent graduates or entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle objections and build rapport with clients.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive in driving results.
Strong customer service mindset-this company places great value on relationships, referrals, and reviews.
Experience with QuickBooks is a plus; adaptability to new systems is essential.
