You can see the gratification from taking unprocessed material and transforming them into something polished and precise. You will also be expected to maintain your machine, as well as your work area. Our machinists make their own programs if it’s a new run, as well as making all their own setups for jobs. X 85” length Toolroom 3x Prototrak vertical CNC machines 2x Bridgeport knee mills 1x Mitsubishi EDM Requirements/Skills: 5 years minimum experience Identifying engineer drawings/print Able to use a vast range of inspection equipment Micrometers Indicators Calipers 2 & 3 contact bore gauges Etc. Understanding Metric and Imperial measurements, simultaneously being able to perform conversions from one to the other Understanding of G and M code and programming efficiently and effectively.
