The incumbent is also responsible for state-wide representation on all matters concerning the State Aeronautics Act and the associated rules and regulations. Coordination with all Caltrans districts and the Federal Aviation Administration is a vital part of the incumbent’s daily responsibilities. The incumbent has executive-level skills in leadership, communication, partnership, and strategic thinking, as well as a deep commitment to the Department’s strategic goals and vision, to providing excellent customer service, and to advancing equity through all efforts.
