Abacus Technology is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to assist in the day-to-day recruiting and hiring of technical, managerial, analytical, and administrative support staff. This is a full-time position supporting multiple projects throughout the United States and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Identify qualified candidates using various sourcing tools (job boards, social media, networking groups) and techniques (e.g. Boolean search).
• Conduct baseline phone screens with candidates and coordinate interviews with the hiring and program managers.
• Utilize LinkedIn and other social media sites to promote Abacus opportunities and upcoming hiring events.
• Maintain a candidate database with relevant information throughout the hiring process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with candidates to create talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
• Work closely with the Recruiting Manager to provide updates, discuss roadblocks, and establish priorities.
• Coordinate with corporate departments including HR, security, finance, business development, and proposal management as necessary.
• Coordinate and participate in job fairs and open houses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in technical sourcing or recruiting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.
• Experience with sourcing and recruiting for a wide range of IT, project management, and engineering positions across civilian, DoD, and Intelligence agency contracts.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system such as iCIMS or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of the terms, acronyms, technologies, and processes used by government agencies.
• Great attitude and willingness to grow and develop.
• Customer service oriented and able to understand the needs of hiring managers.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
• May require some travel.
• Must be a US citizen.
