Job Description
- Work Schedule: Must work Monday and/or Friday each week
- Shifts: 2 8-hour shifts, 2 12-hour shifts, 5 8-hour shifts, 3 12-hour shifts, 4 10-hour shifts (considering 4 8-hour shifts); Primary need is for 40-hours/week
- Hospital Information: 609-bed metropolitan hospital serving the Raleigh, NC community
- Anesthesia Department: Composed of approximately 30 anesthesiologists, 70 CRNAs, and 40 Anesthesia Techs
- Practice Model: Care team model (medical direction) in a collegial atmosphere
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required
- Requirements: Current license as a registered nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia, certified or re-certified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Privileging Timeframe: Estimated 60-90 days
- Start Date: May 2025
- Hours: 40-hours/week
- Call: In House Call Preferred, Weeknight On Call (Pager) Preferred, Weekend On Call (Pager) Preferred
- Overtime: Expected
- Case Type(s): General, Ortho, Neuro, EP, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac (no open hearts for locum providers), Bariatrics, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, and limited Pediatrics
- Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs, CRNA to MD ratio 3 to 1, MDs doing their own cases
- Anesthesia Rooms: 48
- Charting System: Epic
- Shift Type: 12-hour shifts
- State License: Candidates must already have a NC license
- Duration of Assignment: Ongoing
