Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Generate, review, and distribute invoices while maintaining accurate billing records.
- Process vendor payments, reconcile statements, and manage vendor relationships.
- Handle payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Maintain financial records in QuickBooks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards, including grant management and fund accounting.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports to support grant compliance and board presentations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and non-profit reporting requirements.
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online).
- 3+ years of experience in AP, AR, invoicing, vendor payments, and payroll.
- Experience in non-profit accounting (fund accounting, grant tracking, and compliance).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, grantors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $29.00
