Job Purpose Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of the talent acquisition process including posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring applicants to fill open positions within the Adams Group. This position reports to the HR Director.
Food Safety Policy

Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for all aspects of recruitment including but not limited to:
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Performs new hire onboarding including conducting New Hire Orientation.
- Tracking and reporting of Talent Management statistics.
- Participate in the development of and/or create departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in community and college job fairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least three years of human resources experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP/PHR/PHR-CA preferred.
- Available to work overtime including some weekends.
- Willing to work in any of our operating locations (Arbuckle, Woodland, Sacramento).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
