Join our team at The Road Home Dane County as a Full-Time Administrative Assistant at our Wingra office. You'll play a vital role in supporting families experiencing homelessness in Dane County, WI, while ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment for staff, participants, and visitors.

What’s Your Day Like?
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries, making referrals or taking messages.
- Greet visitors and clients with a welcoming and helpful attitude.
- Handle incoming donations, organize them, and notify the appropriate team members.
- Process mail, including financial donations, in collaboration with the Business Manager.
- Assist with Operations & Staff Support:
- Perform data entry into the Development database in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of acknowledgment letters and reports.
- Organize staff meetings, from scheduling to setting up meeting spaces and taking minutes.
- Provide Program Support:
- Track and distribute client resources, such as bus passes, gas cards, and gift cards.
- Coordinate the pickup and distribution of items for clients, including donations.
- Ensure donation closets are well-organized and communicate with staff about available resources.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite is required; Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
- Experience with data entry and managing databases is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
