Overview
Understand production processes related to aircraft systems components, avionics, machined parts, tooling, and lean manufacturing. Familiar with legacy aircraft including F16 and C130, with a background in manufacturing engineering. Analyze supplier processes and develop improvement plans collaboratively. Collaborate across multiple functions within the company and at supplier facilities, including production, procurement, quality, and engineering. Communicate effectively with supplier personnel at various organizational levels. Build relationships quickly with multiple stakeholders. Required Skills:
Experience with Industrial Engineering and direct manufacturing experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with electronic Material Requirements Planning systems such as SAP. Ability to work across multiple venues with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Understanding of manufacturing processes, specifications, contracts, and objective evidence. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentations and briefings. Experience working with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineers, and Purchasing. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proactive data analysis abilities. High sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Experience purchasing in electronics manufacturing. Must be a U.S. citizen. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required. Experience with ERP systems is a plus. Higher education preferred. Work in typical office environment, with physical activities including light lifting, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and occasional driving. Vision and hearing requirements are specified. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with potential for overtime. Pay Range:
$32 - $42 hourly, based on experience and qualifications. Company Overview:
