We offer flight training to all levels of pilots in the San Francisco Bay region. We are hiring at locations in San Jose and Livermore, CA. Our maintenance teams are a vital part of our safety programs, and we are currently accepting resumes for an A&P Technician. The Technician is responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient workplace while providing excellent on time results. *Core Responsibilities* * Performs airframe, powerplant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements * Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems * Performs routine inspections, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA * Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment * Completes all required maintenance records and makes log entries as necessary * Accurately records time worked on aircraft work order * Interprets technical manuals * Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality * Presents a clean and neat work area to customers - facility cleanliness and general housekeeping * Performs other aircraft maintenance work as required * Tows and parks aircraft * Performs other duties as assigned *Qualifications* * FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate * Must pass pre-employment background check *Compensation* * Pay commensurate with experience * Medical/Dental/Vision insurance coverage for full-time employees (employer pays 60% of total premiums) * Accidental Death Insurance and Disability Insurance - 100% Employer Paid * Enrollment into CalSavers Retirement Savings Program * 6 Paid holidays per year * 80 Hours of PTO per year earned on an accrual basis.
