Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the Director of Business Development – Amazon AWS Partnership. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for expanding and strengthening our partnership with Amazon AWS, driving visibility within AWS partner programs, managing key partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and leading go-to-market initiatives. Your expertise will position Altimetrik as a preferred partner in the AWS ecosystem, driving mutual growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Build and enhance relationships with Amazon AWS and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Lead regular cadence meetings and quarterly business reviews with AWS and ISV partners to align on goals and opportunities. Maintain partner sales portals and manage a joint pipeline of channel-sourced opportunities. Support Altimetrik’s sales team with AWS or ISV opportunities, including funding requests, access to subject matter experts, and resolving opportunity blockers. Evangelize Altimetrik’s capabilities to AWS and ISV field teams, educating them on new go-to-market strategies. Collaborate with AWS and ISV marketing teams to plan and execute local and virtual events. Develop compelling GTM materials, including case studies, presentations, and solution briefs, and lead marketing efforts like blogs and webinars. Oversee the listing, optimization, and management of solutions in the AWS Marketplace. Facilitate transactions through the AWS Marketplace to drive revenue growth. Track ROI and funnel contribution from AWS and ISV partners to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Communicate updates on AWS and ISV programs and initiatives to internal teams, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making. Work closely with AWS and ISV partner managers, technical specialists, and field teams to identify and pursue joint opportunities. Foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to maximize the partnership’s value. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, or alliance management roles, with a focus on Amazon AWS and partner ecosystems. Demonstrated experience working in public cloud computing ecosystems, with knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, and DevOps delivery models. Strong working knowledge of AWS sales processes, partner programs, and marketplace transactions. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to large groups and senior stakeholders. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a high-growth, fast-paced business environment. Customer service-oriented with a focus on teamwork, adaptability, and initiative. Collaborative and strategic thinker who excels in fostering strong internal and external relationships. Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
