A globally recognized, top-tier law firm is seeking highly motivated and talented junior to mid-level associates to join its elite Real Estate Capital Markets practice in New York. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside industry leaders on some of the most sophisticated and high-profile commercial real estate finance and securitization transactions in the market today. Key Responsibilities: Represent leading financial institutions, investment banks, and private equity sponsors in complex commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions. Advise on the origination, structuring, syndication, and securitization of commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, and related real estate assets. Draft and negotiate a broad range of transactional documents including loan agreements, intercreditor and participation agreements, and securitization offering materials. Work closely with clients and other counsel to manage deal timelines and deliver results under demanding deadlines. Contribute to the development of practice innovations, knowledge sharing, and client relationship building. Qualifications: J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials. Admission to the New York Bar, or eligibility to waive in. Minimum of 2 years of experience at a large law firm or equivalent legal environment. Substantive experience in real estate finance and/or capital markets, including the securitization and/or syndication of commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans. Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and a collaborative team spirit.
