Responsibilities: Provides direction to the team on priorities and ensures established timelines are met Reviews documentation that will be sent to a customer to ensure content is consistent with strategy and desired message (Complaint resolution, data packages, etc) Conducts appropriate performance management within team as needed Reviews customer requests to determine appropriate response level and interacts with customers and suppliers as needed. Drives existing goals within the team and holds accountable Supports supplier quality engineer to resolve raw material quality or supplier issues Leads established meetings within the quality organization framework (Ex. Weekly quality meeting, etc) Ensures required quality related materials are prepared for repeating meetings (Ex. Tier 1 customer update meetings, supply review, etc) Works with global counterpart to ensure site alignment on customer requests, projects, etc Updates quality led KPI's and drives improvement Works with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, R&D, and other HDM organizations to support quality initiatives or requested information Leads ISO surveillance and customer audits Provides direction and drives organization quality incident reporting and root cause analysis Supports SPC initiatives within the manufacturing and quality control labs Ensures team manages customer complaints, audits, and checklist requests Determine qualification plan scope and act as final approver for Quality related to change management Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required 5+ years combined experience in manufacturing, Quality or Continuous Improvement Engineering is required. Semiconductor industry or related experience desirable 3+ years people leadership experience is required Experience with External Communications to Vendors and/or Customers is required Demonstrated understanding of statistical techniques including DOE, Control Charts, Gage R&R, ANOVA is required bility to oversee a team and make good engineering judgments on their work is required Required to have proficient computer skills such as advanced Excel and Powerpoint use Experience using a statistical software program (eg, Minitab, JMPTM) is required Demonstrated experience with risk tools such as C&E and FMEAs is preferred Polyimide related knowledge, analytical and material characterization techniques, and results interpretation skills are preferred Experience working and managing projects in a global environment (both internal and external) with communications across cultures is preferred 6-sigma project certification is preferred.
