The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine are seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician for a full-time position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. This is a 12-month salaried faculty appointment with attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals. Rank Requirements: Assistant Professor: Entry-level, requires a medical degree and meeting university criteria. Associate Professor: Minimum of five years of productive service as an Assistant Professor or equivalent, with a record of achievement in teaching, research, and service. Full Professor: Minimum of five years of productive service as an Associate Professor or equivalent, with recognized authority in the field. Responsibilities: Teaching, research, and service activities, including academic advising. Providing Pulmonary and Critical Care services at USF outpatient clinics and TGH ICU. Supervising and instructing medical students, residents, and fellows. Representing the university, college, or department as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent. Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Eligibility for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent. Participation in USF Health faculty practice plan and hospital staff privileges.
