This is a field-based role covering the north of England. Ideally, you would be based in the north of England e.g. West/North Yorkshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, Tyneside.

The role
You will be responsible for growing the company’s market share with travel agents in the north of the UK. By using your extensive contacts in the industry, you will be expected to source new partnerships with independent travel agents and homeworkers, alongside nurturing relationships with existing accounts in your region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business Development
- Represent Audley in a field sales capacity “on the road”.
- Create and execute an efficient and effective call plan.
- Identify target travel agent partners in your region for onboarding and/or relationship development.
- Undertake productive sales meetings with targeted agents both in-person and online.
- Analyse trade performance data to help outline your account management strategy and future actions.
- Account Management
- Ensure that we retain loyalty and deliver sales growth from your assigned key account agents.
- Work closely with all other existing accounts in your region to understand how we can deliver best-in-class service and maintain their loyalty.
- Feedback ideas for service improvements to relevant stakeholders at Audley.
- Training
- Deliver targeted and effective training for our agent partners, both in-person and online.
- Assist in the planning and participate in trade training events.
About you
You will be a conscientious and self-motivated individual who is results orientated and enjoys seeing tasks through to completion. You will be confident communicating with a wide cross-section of people from agency staff to business directors - excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
Experience required:
- Strong customer focus with a solid understanding of the value of Audley’s Trade and Partnership relationships.
- Confident communicating with a wide cross-section of people from agency staff to business directors - excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Well-travelled and well versed in at least some of Audley’s core destinations.
- Highly organized and proficient in prioritising workload with a methodical and systematic approach to work.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive contacts within the independent travel agency sector.
- Remains calm and level-headed in pressurized situations.
- A reliable and flexible team player.
