Location:
South Shore Subaru - Long Island, NY Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday - Friday Earning Potential:
$75,000 - $120,000+ per year (including bonuses and commissions)
Position Summary:
As a
Pre-Owned Buyer/Appraiser , you'll play a vital role in acquiring quality used vehicles and supporting our pre-owned inventory needs. You'll work closely with service and sales teams, appraising trade-ins, lease returns, and customer vehicles to ensure the dealership maintains a strong and profitable inventory.
Key Responsibilities: Communicate professionally with incoming customers regarding vehicle appraisals Appraise vehicles from various sources: service drive, off-lease returns, trade-ins Manage and respond to Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book Cash Offer leads Maintain accurate records in the CRM and follow up with prospects Offer test drives while adhering to dealership procedures Maintain and execute the dealership's customer follow-up systems Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the buying and appraisal process Set and track personal goals aligned with dealership objectives Attend training courses and stay up to date on industry trends Monitor used vehicle auctions and utilize V-Auto for pricing insights Oversee lease return processes and assist with inventory management Coordinate with other VIP locations for intercompany trade opportunities What We're Looking For:
Experience in automotive appraisals and a strong understanding of the pre-owned market 2 years car sales experience, Strong CRM skills, knowledge of V-Auto and VIN Solutions is a plus Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building abilities Results-driven and self-motivated Prior automotive or retail sales experience preferred Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits:
Total Earnings Potential:
$75,000 - $100,000+ per year (base + commission + bonuses)
