Job Description This role is categorized as
HYBRID . The successful candidate is expected to report to GM - Cadillac Tower at least three times per week. Relocation benefits may be available. Join us! This leadership role oversees all Buick and GMC ICE and EV crossover programs, managing 4-5 direct-report Product Managers. It also involves developing, communicating, and executing Buick and GMC Product Strategy. This role has two main responsibilities: Buick GMC Crossover Segment Lead and Team Leader
Provide strategic guidance to BG crossover product managers and oversee all programs (in-market and future) Ensure brand strategy is enforced and products remain fresh through updates and lifecycle management Coordinate with marketing to optimize product offerings based on dealer feedback and sales data Align content strategies within GM brands Enhance digital revenue through innovative hardware and digital package strategies Represent Buick and GMC crossover programs at leadership forums Manage human resources including workload balancing, performance reviews, hiring, coaching, and development Buick GMC Product Strategy
Serve as the voice of Buick and GMC brands, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product strategies. Establish processes for stakeholder-aligned strategy development Communicate strategies effectively across stakeholders Implement strategies with consistency, managing escalations and deviations Ensure global alignment across regions Support portfolio planning activities Collaborate with design teams on future concepts and brand vision Develop strategic viewpoints on ad hoc topics affecting the portfolio Lead strategic technology discussions from ideation to rollout Champion corporate initiatives with a customer-first approach Required Qualifications Over 7 years of cross-functional automotive experience in marketing, product development, or related fields Understanding of program segments and brand roles within global portfolios Interest in market dynamics, automotive technology, and consumer behavior Strong strategic, innovative, and leadership skills Effective communication skills, both written and oral Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail Flexibility to work outside regular hours for international collaboration Bachelor's degree required Preferred Qualifications Product marketing experience Knowledge of GM vehicle development, pricing, and marketing processes Familiarity with GM systems like PPC, PCAT, CR/DN, VCPS, etc. Master's degree in Business Administration preferred A company vehicle is provided upon successful Motor Vehicle Report review.
