Cavender Cadillac is looking for a receptionist to join the team!
This is a full-time position, Tuesday Thru Sat 9-6 with full benefits.
The receptionist is responsible for providing front-line support for customers and visitors to the dealership. This role involves handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for everyone who enters the dealership. The receptionist also assists with administrative tasks and supports other departments as needed to help maintain the overall efficiency of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
- Direct customers to the appropriate department or staff member based on their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly, ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate department.
- Provide general information to customers, including vehicle availability, sales promotions, and dealership policies.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule service appointments and assist with managing the service department’s calendar.
- Confirm appointments with customers and ensure that vehicles are ready for service.
- Assist with vehicle pick-up and drop-off coordination when necessary.
Administrative Support:
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain and update customer contact information in the dealership’s CRM system.
- Assist with administrative tasks for the sales and service teams as needed, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Communication:
- Relay messages to staff members and customers in a timely manner.
- Notify management of customer concerns or issues promptly.
- Support the team with promotional or event-related activities, such as coordinating test drives or customer events.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the office manager or department leads to support dealership operations.
- Ensure the overall positive atmosphere of the dealership through excellent service and hospitality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service or reception preferred, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using phone systems, computers, and office equipment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of light office supplies or packages.
