Potter Lumber in Allegany, NY, an affiliate of the Baillie Group, is looking to add a Forklift Operator to the team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a world-class lumber organization as a first shift forklift operator. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate, organize, and move material as needed.

Job Details:

• First Shift
• Hourly Pay - Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $16/hour - $20/hour
• Overtime Hours and Pay
• Full Plan of Benefits
• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Locating, pulling, and organizing loads of material needed for orders
• Ability to work independently
• Assist shipping department as needed for various duties
• Capable of working efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of precision

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift required
• Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
• Must be self-motivated and organized
• Willingness to work in an outside environment
• Willingness to work overtime
