INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
As the Property Director of Sales, this independent and take-charge professional will strive to increase the portfolio’s reach of guests through group and transient sales strategies. This individual will be proficient and knowledgeable of industry trends to enable the completion of the company's short- and long-term goals. What You Will Work On

Develop and manage prospective and existing business through strategic planning and execution. Proactively create prospective business and maintain existing base through strong relationship development, consistent follow-up, and follow-through, probing for new opportunities, lead generation strategy, and fully qualifying the prospect. Lead and champion the development and implementation of specific sales strategies to drive group bookings, seasonal sales, and hone in on key transient sales tactics. Negotiates and closes opportunities, ensuring revenue control and bookings align with property needs. Works collaboratively with the revenue management team to ensure that the pricing strategy best maximizes profitability. Work closely with the marketing team to define sales marketing strategies and measure the ROI of campaign efforts. Develop annual sales strategies and assist in the budget process. Will regularly provide reporting and measurement of sales efforts to leadership and ownership structures. Monitors market for trends, forecasts, job growth, and other economic conditions that may impact occupancy and leasing effectiveness within the portfolio. Recommends changes and response strategies to offset market downturns or opportunities. Provides feedback and recommendations to property management on improving struggling asset performance and maximizing revenue generation on performing assets. Performs other duties as assigned.
Who You Will Work With
The Property Director of Sales reports to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the VP of Business Development. Collaborates with the Revenue and Marketing teams. Works closely with the property leadership teams.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
