Overview: The Security Lead is responsible for the duties of Security Guard and to provide guidance to the security group. This person shall ensure that all equipment is kept in operating order and that policy and procedures are being followed.
Job Description:
- Ensure that all shifts are covered.
- Resolve disputes amongst employees.
- Promote professionalism within the group.
- Check all boxes, packages, bags, containers, and the likes that are entering and leaving the property.
- Conduct security rounds.
- Check in and out trailers.
- Monitor people’s coming and going.
- Monitor the parking lot.
- Complete forms as necessary.
- Monitor the CCTV.
- Write reports.
- Enforce policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or (GED) equivalent.
- Three years minimum of experience or certification.
- Ability to spend the majority of the workday standing and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions while making outside rounds during all seasons.
- Ability to make rounds in the facility which will also expose them to a variety of temperatures and conditions.
