Little Oaks Pediatrics, a well-established and thriving independent pediatric practice in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Pediatrician to take over an existing panel of patients and lead our clinical and administrative support team into the next chapter of growth and excellence.
Position Highlights: Schedule: 4 days per week (32 clinic hours)
Weekday hours include one early morning and evening shift to ensure patient access.
Rotating Saturday morning hours every third weekend Shared after-hours on call rotation every third week
On-call triage is handled by our afterhours nurse call line with providers handling urgent matters by phone.
Hospital on-call is not required. Start Date: Anticipated date of September 2025 Compensation: Competitive base salary with quarterly production bonus Benefits include:

About the Role:
This leadership-focused position offers an opportunity to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults - while shaping the future of our thriving practice. The incoming pediatrician will oversee and mentor a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants and will play a key role in establishing Little Oaks Pediatrics as the premier pediatric provider for children, families, and referral sources throughout the greater Raleigh area.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional primary care from birth through adolescence in accordance with the latest clinical guidelines for evidence-based care. Monitor and screen for children's physical, developmental, and emotional milestones and provide family-centered counseling on growth and development, safety, and health maintenance. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions. Lead clinical operations and support the professional development of NPs and PAs Communicate effectively with children and families, ensuring understanding of diagnoses and treatment plans. Provide ongoing guidance for chronic disease management and preventive care. Champion vaccination and immunization programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with local referral sources and the broader healthcare community. Drive practice growth initiatives, quality improvement projects, and continuing education efforts. Foster a collaborative, family-centered practice culture across clinicians and other healthcare professionals. Ideal Candidate:
Board-Certified MD or DO in Pediatrics Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one), preferred, but not required. Current DEA license. PALS certification. Minimum of 3-5 years of pediatric clinical experience preferred. Prior experience (or willingness) to serve as a supervising physician for nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills Committed to compassionate, evidence-based pediatric care. Proficient with EMR systems and clinical documentation Interest in building a long-term career and leadership presence in Raleigh.
