Corporate Controller
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a Corporate Controller at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this individual will act as a strategic business partner with the CFO, a leader of a diverse professional staff and develop short- and long-range business and strategic plans to drive financial results for BI&A.
The successful candidate will manage a team of cross-functional individual contributors and will work under consultative direction of the CFO, often self-initiate assignments in line with business unit expectations. Position responsibilities will include:
Financial Accounting
Lead the monthly accounting cycle from open-to-close, processing appropriate transactions and identifying ways to streamline and shorten the calendar where appropriate.
Establish a plan to monitor and review accounting transactions and reports for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all transactions are processed, reconciled, and reported timely, accurately and compliantly including payroll, payables, receivables, and all other transaction types.
Continually develop operational procedures consistent with compliant government accounting principles and regulations.
Financial Operations
Manage the BI&A ERP system across functional partners, including Human Resources, Contracts and other organizations.
Lead a team of program facing analysts who serve developing and mature programs.
Demonstrate programmatic reporting and compliance controls are implemented, documented and deployed in support of government requirements.
Ensure CDRLs are completed, reviewed and reported in a timely and accurate fashion.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support the lifecycle of the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) process and subsequent DCMA and DCAA interfaces and audits.
Maintain and evolve Cost Policy audit procedures in line with disclosure statements and compliance requirements.
Assist in the yearly internal rate pool budget exercises including support to monitoring plans and transactions.
Partner with CFO to recommend impactful changes, creative adjustments or updated procedures in line with BI&A's strategic financial plan.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
Strong accounting acumen with operational business knowledge.
Understands how to accomplish tasks both through formal channels and informal network.
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving aligned with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in a team environment with the ability to be a quick learner and multi-tasker.
Willingness to be a product and process owner and develop independent recommendations for improvement.
Bring industry best practices and benchmarks to help inform accounting strategy and decisions.
Experience developing and executing accounting and financial management processes and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to obtain TS/SCI Poly Clearance.
Knowledge of JAMIS ERP or prior experience adapting ERP systems to enterprise needs.
Prior experience leading a subsidiary organization inside the framework of an enterprise organization.
CPA, MBA and other professional certifications commensurate with the job description.
Telework/Remote Availability:
Hybrid work authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite).

Relocation:
Relocation is not offered for this role. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $135,000 - $175,000.
