Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join a leading technology organization. This role is hybrid, requiring the analyst to work from a remote office and in-person at the Oakland General Office for 2-3 days per week. Occasionally, travel to other Bay Area locations may be required. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical skill set to develop metrics, balanced scorecards, and performance analytics that influence strategic decisions and operational efficiencies. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join a leading technology organization. This role is hybrid, requiring the analyst to work from a remote office and in-person at the Oakland General Office for 2-3 days per week. Occasionally, travel to other Bay Area locations may be required. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical skill set to develop metrics, balanced scorecards, and performance analytics that influence strategic decisions and operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine metrics, balanced scorecards, dashboards, and performance analytics to provide insights into operational results and strategic advice to senior leadership. Prepare complex data analyses from initial request to presenting results, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data extracts. Collaborate and maintain strong working relationships with security teams, IT Risk and Compliance, and other strategic, cross-functional partners. Develop and update internal analytical products, communicate analytical insights clearly and concisely, and tailor communications to specific audiences. Design and implement training programs for business partners on new tools and data-driven decision-making processes. Develop effective presentation materials for leadership to facilitate informed decision-making and awareness of key issues. Assist with the production of project and operational review materials, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key performance indicators and outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a business intelligence or data analysis role. Proven ability to manage complex data analysis projects independently from inception to completion. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power BI. Familiarity with Power Automate, PowerApps, and SharePoint sites is advantageous. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional research, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner. Experience in developing dashboards and automated reporting routines to streamline data processing and analysis. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and travel to different locations as required.
Pay Range:
$45.00 – $50.00 per hour Seniority level
