Our dairy cooperative is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) opening as a third shift (8p-4a) Cold Storage (Forklift) Operator at our Middlebury, VT location. Position starts at $24.65/hour, plus 7%-10% night differential (based on actual hours worked) and has increases every 6 months for 2 years (based on performance).

This position will be responsible for:

1. Moving packaged cheese into warehouse cool down rooms.
2. Relieving the rest of the team in the packaging of cheese into 640lb blocks or 40lb boxes or within support roles in production.
3. Maintaining a sanitary work environment.
4. Insuring accurate records.
5. Verifying weight tags are attached and legible to each block.
6. Understanding specific SOP’s and product specifications.
7. Running a palletizer and cleaning the area.

As needed, the candidate will be expected to make boxes and assist on the cheese line to help the overall team. This requires the ability to lift 50lbs and push/pull 55lbs on a regular basis.
