What You’ll do

The Cashier plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

1. Deliver outstanding service through clear communication and active listening.
2. Greet customers warmly as they enter the store.
3. Assist customers with transactions using the cashier script and promote company programs like the loyalty program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
4. Handle cash management, returns, layaways, and exchanges according to company policies.
5. Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
6. Provide product information and recommend items as appropriate.
7. Coordinate with loaders and respond promptly to customer requests.
8. Execute transactions efficiently, prioritize timely service, and resolve price disputes professionally.
9. Stand at the designated area to assist customers when not engaged in transactions.
10. Highlight the benefits of the loyalty program and the RK Visa card to customers.
11. Respond to calls professionally, identifying yourself and the store.
12. Reconcile registers and file paperwork accurately.
13. Deactivate security devices as needed.
14. Maintain awareness to prevent loss and provide excellent service.
15. Perform cashier duties including stocking, cleaning, and managing registers.
16. Replenish popcorn and coffee stations timely.
17. Keep carts and restrooms clean and maintained.
18. Use office equipment as needed.
19. Participate in cross-training and learning initiatives.
20. Provide friendly support to customers and colleagues.

22. Perform other duties as assigned.
