Base pay range
$40,000.00/yr - $42,400.00/yr
The principal duty of all employees is to assist in the mission of the Church in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Position overview
The Teacher fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of students within the school's philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The Teacher provides an appropriate learning atmosphere and activities to maximize student growth in various domains. The Teacher has decision-making responsibilities within essential job functions, in accordance with school policies.
Principal responsibilities
- Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies of the school and Diocese.
- Plans instruction with clear objectives based on the curriculum and school policies.
- Provides materials and resources to facilitate learning.
- Uses effective instructional methods and models.
- Employs varied assessment tools for formative and summative evaluations.
- Maintains accurate records according to school policy.
- Practices positive discipline and classroom management.
- Communicates proactively with parents regarding academic and behavioral issues.
- Participates in staff development as required.
- Demonstrates professionalism and collaborates with colleagues.
- Meets with parents and responds to messages promptly.
- Shows progress in student performance aligned with school goals.
- Adapts to individual learning needs.
- Maintains a consistent work schedule.
- Performs other assigned projects and tasks.
Additional information
This position involves moderate supervision, internal and external contacts, and physical requirements typical of a school environment. Some travel may be required. The role is full-time, on-site, with hours aligned with school operations.
