We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Project Manager
to lead and coordinate capital and process improvement projects within our partners chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering principles, and chemical manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional project teams through all phases of project execution, from concept to commissioning and closeout. Plan, schedule, and manage resources for capital projects, plant expansions, process upgrades, and equipment installations. Develop and manage detailed project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with internal departments including engineering, production, EHS, maintenance, and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations during all project phases. Manage external contractors, vendors, and engineering firms to meet project deliverables and quality standards. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management. Implement continuous improvement methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce project costs. Support the development of standard operating procedures and training documentation post-project completion. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. PMP certification is a plus. 5+ years of experience in project management within a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of chemical process systems, plant utilities, and industrial equipment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ASME). Seniority level
